This is where it all began. When I first started my photography business, I only captured senior portraits and family sessions. Since then, I have evolved into mostly documenting wedding days for my couples, but I still fall back to my roots and photograph just about every milestone in between. Even if we have never worked with each other before, I’d be happy to start the conversation about how I can serve you!
My portrait packages are $450
Included in my portrait packages is 100+ photographs from your session and a $50 print credit that can be used after your session is delivered.
What is included in your portrait package?
Every milestone outside of your wedding day (or other event photography) falls under this category. Getting engaged, about to have a baby or graduating college? Then this is the right package for you. Do you want to do your session at your home or would you rather run away to the mountains? I know of some great locations all over Virginia that we could venture to for your session.
Here’s what to expect:
First things first, we will get the contract and non refundable retainer squared away. Then I will send you over a digital guide to get the conversation started about your session. Where to go, what to wear and what props to bring - I’ve got it all jam packed into the perfect little guide for you. Then we pick the perfect date for your session. Once your session happens, you can expect your photographs to be delivered into an online gallery for easy view and downloading purposes.
How many photographs will I receive?
You can expect to receive at minimum of 150 photographs from your session. But I will say, I am known to overshoot! I love what I do and these memories mean so much to you that I try my best to not withhold any keepsake images from my clients.
HOW DOES THE PRINT CREDIT WORK?
Each package includes a $50 print credit that can be used at the “store” in your online gallery. My clients are able to choose their favorite images to be printed, in the sizes that they wish after their gallery is delivered. Shipping usually takes about a week.
How long will my session be?
We will probably shoot for 1-1.5 hours. If your session requires multiple locations and outfit changes, then some sessions end up taking about 2 hours. Expect to take the afternoon or evening off — Grab a beer before your session or a bite to eat after!

Sort of! Starting April 2021 I will now be offering a 15% discount to returning clients!
DO YOU EVER DO MINI SESSIONS?
No, unfortunately my calendar books so far out that it’s hard for me to squeeze in a time to offer these time consuming sessions and still have time to be able to make memories with my family. Mini sessions are easy on the client, but A LOT of hard work on the backend for the photographer with planning, decorations, location reservations, advertising, scheduling and editing.
